Date: 2000 Description: Watercolour on joined, pen-written paper pages from the 18th century. This painting was created by Sabine Frank (born 1956) from Nuremberg. An Italian loaf of bread is shown in long form on an 18th century paper written in brown pen (dated 1779). According to the inscription on the reverse, the artist painted and ate the depicted loaf in March 2000. VITA: Born in Nuremberg in 1956. 1978-84 Studied painting, art history and theatre studies at the University of Munich. 1984-87 goldsmith apprenticeship with Peter Maciuga. 1987 diploma. Lives and works from 1988 to 90 in Gargnano / Italy and Munich, from 1992 to 93 in San Rocco a Pilli / Siena and Munich, from 1994 to 99 in Cassagnes and Labastide du Vert / France and since 1999 in Villa/Gargnano, Italy and Munich. Since 2001 production and installation of projects in the premises of a former grocery shop in Villa/Gargnano. Co-founder of the artist group La Tenda Rossa.
