The trees are executed in a sketch-like manner, characterised by fine lines and subtle colour accents. The branches and leaves are worked out in detail, with the use of brown and green tones emphasising the organic structure of the plants. The background is kept simple, allowing the trees to take centre stage. The composition appears balanced, with a slight curve in the lines that suggests natural movement. The lighting conditions are even, without strong shadows or lighting effects. There are no figures or narrative elements to distract from the pure depiction of nature.
