Erstausgabe, veröffentlicht mit einer Einleitung und Anmerkungen auf der Grundlage von Manuskripten aus der Kaiserlichen Bibliothek. Schöne, von Ligny nach La Charlerie gravierte Titelumrahmung, eine ausgeklappbare Holzschnitttafel (Stadt und Schloss von Loches) sowie eine weitere, die auf einem Platz aufgestellte Schafotte zeigt. Der Einband ist signiert, doch die Signatur (oben auf einem Vorsatzblatt) ist unleserlich. Kleine Einstichstellen, Abrieb am Einband.
