ESPELT Mithé (1923–2020). Quadratischer Spiegel. Geprägter Tonabdruck, blau. H.: 23,5 cm. – B.: 23,5 cm. Am Ende des Zweiten Weltkriegs zog Mithé Espelt nach Paris, wo sie in der Werkstatt für Keramikknöpfe von Nathalie Pol im Stadtteil Saint-Germain-des-Prés arbeitete. Bereits 1946 kehrte sie jedoch nach Lunel zurück, um sich um ihre jüngeren Schwestern zu kümmern. Dort eröffnete sie ihre eigene Keramikwerkstatt, in der sie Schmuck, Schatullen sowie Spiegel herstellte, die sie in Galerien in der gesamten Region, aber auch auf Martinique verkaufte.
