Ein vergleichbares Portrait des Moritz von Nassau-Oranien (1567-1625) von Jan Anthonisz. van Ravesteyn befindet sich im Nationalmuseum in Warschau. Ravesteyn und vor allem Michiel Jansz. van Mierevelt schufen eine Vielzahl von Bildnissen des bedeutenden Statthalters von Holland.
