Midam MIDAM GAME OVER Cold Case – Ungelöste Fälle (Bd. 8), Mad Fabrik 2012 Originalzeichnung, Gag Nr. 289, vorab veröffentlicht in „Le Journal de Spirou“ Nr. 3880 vom 22. August 2012. Signiert. Tusche auf Papier 28,5 × 37,5 cm (11,22 × 14,76 in.) Dieser Gag erinnert Gamer an die Power Gloves und in jüngerer Zeit an die Wii von Nintendo, mit denen man Gesten ausführen kann, die auf dem Bildschirm umgesetzt werden. Bei Midam ist der Gag eine raffinierte Mechanik, die mit den Klischees des Videospiels spielt. Eine Übung, die umso schwieriger und gelungener ist, als sie ohne Worte auskommt. Alles hängt von der Mimik der Figuren und der Wirksamkeit des Slapsticks, dem finalen Schlag, ab. Ein Musterbeispiel des Genres, ganz in der Tradition eines Franquin, der das Thema des Gags im französisch-belgischen Comic etwas modernisiert hat.
