MEISSEN Title: Octagonal Porcelain Bowl with Chrysanthemums. Date: Ca. 1740/1750. Designer: Decor presumably Johann David Kretzschmar or Peter Kolmberger. Material: Porcelain, blue painting. Measurement: 32.5 x 24.5 cm. Mark: Painted blue under glaze swords mark, 'K' painted blue under glaze, incised mark. Description: Octogonal long deeply moulded bowl. At the edge a mosaic border with flowers in the reserves. On the sides blooming peony branches and lotus blossoms. In the centre two large-blooming chrysanthemum perennials in a garden.
