DOUBLE ROW PEARL NECKLACE WITH RUBY AND DIAMOND CLASP Origin: Presumably Germany . Date: Ca. 1960 . Material: 750/- white gold, hallmark. Weight: 104 g. Measurement: Length 42 cm. Diamonds: 27 brilliant-cut diamonds in total ca. 4.1 ct., G-I/VVS-VS. Gemstones: 1 oval, faceted ruby, ca. 1.9 ct., intense red, heated (TE), origin: Thailand. Organic Matter: 74 freshwater pearls, some of which are irregular in shape and show growth characteristics, Ø ca. 9.4–10.0 mm, white to cream in colour, very velvety lustre. Description: Jeweller’s hallmark. A high-quality pearl necklace with an opulently designed, richly set clasp. The deep red of the rubies provides a striking contrast to the soft luster of the pearls and the vibrant sparkle of the diamonds, lending the piece a particularly striking combination of colours and materials.
