MAGNIFICENT GEMSTONE AND DIAMOND NECKLACE Date: Ca. 1890/1900. Material: Silver, 585/- red gold, tested. Weight: 73 g. Measurement: Length 42 cm. Diamonds: Ca. 210 diamonds in various old-cuts, in total ca.7.5 ct., J-M/SI2-P. Gemstones: 60 round, faceted gemstones, emerald and ruby Ø ca. 1.6 - 3.3 mm. Description: Segmented late Victorian necklace, set with alternating round faceted rubies and emeralds interspersed with small diamonds. Graduated pendants adorn the necklace, accented with diamond settings. The lower diamonds are claw-set, and some of the smaller stones were probably added at a later date.
