Jean-Honoré FRAGONARD (Grasse 1732 – Paris 1806) Die Pinien, Park in Italien Braune Lavur auf schwarzen Bleistiftstrichen. Auf der Rückseite eine Landschaftsskizze in Lavur, ein Park mit einer Treppe auf der linken Seite. Leicht sonnenbleicht, kleine Flecken. Kaum lesbares Stempelzeichen unten rechts. Trockenstempel des Einrahmers „AC“ unten rechts auf der Einrahmung. 12 x 18,8 cm Ausstellung Aspects de Fragonard, Paris, Galerie Cailleux, 1987, Nr. 51, Abb. Dieses Blatt, das sicherlich aus einem in Italien vor Ort angefertigten Skizzenbuch herausgelöst wurde, lässt sich mit mehreren ähnlichen Zeichnungen in Verbindung bringen, wie beispielsweise „Der Garten einer italienischen Villa“ in der National Gallery in Washington (Ananoff, Nr. 1446) oder die „Szene im Park“ im Museum von San Francisco (Ananoff, Nr. 1450). Der Stil lässt auf die Reise von 1773–1774 schließen.
