A noble gift tag from Friedrich Krupp AG, early 20th century Detailliert gearbeitetes, abgestuftes Geschützrohr aus Platin mit Verschluss und beweglicher gabelförmiger Aufhängung. In Geschenketui aus rotbraunem Leder, innen mit ecrufarbener Seide und Samt ausgeschlagen, im Deckel bezeichnet „E. Goldschmidt Hof.Juwelier Köln“ unter Krone. Gebrauchs- und Altersspuren. Länge 5,5 cm. Gewicht 10,5 g. Sehr selten. Solche edlen Präsente verschenkten die Krupps unter anderem an Bedienstete, Handwerker oder hohe Artillerieoffiziere. Die meisten Gold- und Silberschmiedeobjekte für die Krupps fertigte der Hofjuwelier Ernst Goldschmidt in Köln an. Er konnte bei seinen Gestaltungen auf vielfältige Prototypen und Varianten zurückgreifen, die er in Platin, Gelb- oder Weißgold ausführte. Condition: II
