A sabre for enlisted men from the reign of Landgrave Frederick II of Hesse-Kassel, 1760–1785 Leicht gekrümmte, beidseitig doppelt gekehlte Rückenklinge (fleckig, teils narbig, vereinzelt kleine Schmiederisse) mit breiter zweischneidiger Spitze, in der oberen Hälfte beidseitig die geätzte Herrscherchiffre „FL“ (Friedrich Landgraf) unter Krone. Mehrteilig gefertigtes, gegossenes Messinggefäß mit Daumenring, Löwenkopfknauf und reliefiertem hessischen Löwen am Knöchelschild. Schwarze Lederscheide (krakeliert, Risse, rs. Naht teils offen) mit Messingbeschlägen (Risse, Dellen). Teils leicht beschädigt, Gebrauchs- und Altersspuren. Länge 84,5 cm. Selten. Condition: II - III
