A French sabre of a high ranking officer of the National Volunteers, circa 1792 Kräftige, leicht gekrümmte Klinge à la Montmorency (stellenweise fleckig, narbig), im oberen Bereich beidseitig Trophäen- und Rankenätzungen (Vergoldungsspuren), dabei die Schriftzüge „VIVE LA LOI & L(A) LIBRE". Reich reliefiertes Korbgefäß aus Buntmetall mit Stichblatt und durchbrochen gearbeitetem Knöchelschild mit Granatsymbol, Lanzen, Eichen- und Lorbeerlaub. Griff mit feinster Kupferdrahtwicklung sowie Griffkappe mit Löwenkopfknauf. Später ergänzte schwarze Lederscheide mit glatten Buntmetallbeschlägen, zwei beweglichen Trageringe und Trageknopf.
