Die Aufnahme mit dem Photographen Ralph Gibson als Rock'n Roll-Gitarrist umgeben von kaum bekleideten Party Girls entstand wohl im Oktober 1975 in der New Yorker "Ones Disco" als er zusammen mit dem Bildhauer Frosty Myers, Larry Clark, Larry Bennett und Rick Farrar als Band "Sex and Drugs" auftrat. - Ralph Gibson (geb. 1936) begann während seines Dienstes in der US-Marine in den 1950er Jahren zu photographieren und assistierte später Dorothea Lange und Robert Frank, bevor er in New York sein eigenes Atelier eröffnete. Der passionierte Leica-Photograph ist zudem ein versierter Gitarrist, der u.a. an Leonard Cohens Studioalbum "New Skin for the Old Ceremony" aus dem Jahr 1974 mitwirkte. - Der Rock n' Roll-Photograph Allan Tannenbaum, bis 1982 für die "SoHo Weekly News" tätig, porträtierte Legenden wie Sid Vicious, The Ramones oder John Lennon und Yoko Ono im Bett. - Im weißen Rand etwas knickspurig und berieben, Kanten leicht bestoßen. #
