Klassisch-kubistisches Stillleben des ungarischen Künstlers Aurel Richter (1870-1957). - Aurel Richter studierte bei dem Wiener Karl Lotz (1834-1904) und obwohl er zeitlebens in Budapest lebte, stand er in engem Austausch mit Malern der internationalen Avantgarde, insbesondere mit Mitgliedern des Bauhauses in Weimar. Mit Oscar Schlemmer war er seit den 1920er Jahren eng befreundet. - Die Kanten der Malpappe mit kleineren Ausbrüchen, zwei kurzen Randeinrissen und Rahmungsspuren, die Malschicht gefirnisst.
