In diesem Trompe-l'oeil-haften, meisterhaft ausgeführten Stillleben demonstriert Josef Mangold (1884-1937), einer der wichtigsten Vertreter der Neuen Sachlichkeit und des magischen Realismus in Deutschland, seine ausgefeilte, an den Alten Meistern geschulte Technik. - Das Blatt verso umlaufend unter Passepartout montiert, die Kanten etwas unregelmäßig beschnitten, im Passepartout-Ausschnitt leicht gebräunt, partiell schwach braunfleckig.
