Selten. - Die Schrift bringt den Anfang der Erzählung "Malva", der Künstler benötigte dafür ca. 82.000 Buchstaben. Khazin hatte diese Technik erstmals im Jahr 1900 für ein Porträt von Leo Tolstoi verwendet. Bis auf das Gesicht wurden dabei übrige Bildelemente weitgehend gelöscht und durch die Schrift neu geschaffen. - Papierbedingt etwas gebräunt, gering bestoßen, insgesamt gut erhalten. *
