Erste deutsche Ausgabe. - Weiss 3641. - Soyer (1810-58) gilt als einer der berühmtesten Köche des mittleren 19. Jahrhunderts, auf ihn gehen außerdem die "Soup Kitchens" während der irischen Hungersnot 1845-52 zurück. Das vorliegende Werk enthält über 900 Rezepte. Der Übersetzer war Koch in Berlin. - Stark stockfleckig.
