Maße: 40 x 40 cm Mª José Puerto Marín ist eine spanische Malerin, die der expressionistischen Abstraktion zugeordnet wird. Dank ihrer Ausbildung in Architekturtechnik, Philosophie und Literatur sowie Bildender Kunst stützt sich ihr Werk auf ein solides intellektuelles und strukturelles Fundament, das sich in Gemälden von großer emotionaler Intensität niederschlägt. Beeinflusst von Turner, Matisse, Rothko und dem abstrakten Expressionismus der New York School versteht sie die Leinwand als Raum, in dem sie Empfindungen und innere Zustände durch Farbe und Material zum Ausdruck bringt. Sie hatte Einzelausstellungen in Galerien und institutionellen Ausstellungsorten in Madrid, Granada, Málaga, Stockholm und New York und nahm an internationalen Kunstmessen wie der Affordable Art Fair in London, New York und Hongkong teil. Ihre Werke befinden sich in institutionellen Sammlungen in Spanien und weltweit sowie in zahlreichen Privatsammlungen in Europa und den Vereinigten Staaten.
