Date: 19th century Description: The figure alphabet consists of 23 individual leaves. The letters are composed of human figures, persons of high and low status, saints, real animals and mythical creatures. These fit into the silhouette of the letters in partly curious formations. High-quality reprint, presumably from the former Reichsdruckerei/Bundesdruckerei. However, without the typical stamp or blindstamp.
