Titled in the lower centre. Date: c. 1840 Description: Large-format dog depiction with two French spaniel dogs in a landscape detail. Presumably from the series of the animal drawing school "Cours d'études d'animaux". Keywords: 19th century, Romanticism, Animals, Spain, Size: Paper: 39,7 cm x 30,8 cm (15,6 x 12,1 in), Depiction: 22,0 cm x 27,5 cm (8,7 x 10,8 in) Condition: Good condition. Foxing is visible on the entire sheet. Clear crease marks are visible at the upper left and along the left edge of the sheet. Pale liquid stains are visible at the lower left. Slightly bumped along the right edge of the sheet.
