Date: 18th century Description: The portrait shows a man posing frontally to the picture plane. He is wearing a dark, simple robe with a white collar. His face is framed by medium-length, wavy hair and he wears a narrow moustache. His facial expressions are friendly and calm, his gaze is directed straight ahead. He is holding a piece of paper in front of him with his right hand. The composition is classic and balanced, with a neutral background that draws the focus to the person depicted. The light falls evenly on the face, making the facial features stand out vividly.
