Date: 18th century Description: The Batavians (Batavians) arrive in Holland with their carts and belongings in the so-called Batavian Republic. Keywords: Arrival, Journey, 18th century, Classicism, Portraits, Netherlands, Size: Paper: 24,0 cm x 18,7 cm (9,4 x 7,4 in), Depiction: 19,8 cm x 15,0 cm (7,8 x 5,9 in) Condition: Rather good condition. Sheet is divided by vertical creases. The folds have caused short tears in the margins. Sheet is foxed and discoloured according to age. Corners and margins are worn and cracked.
