Date: 17th century Description: The artwork shows a group of three sheep resting in a natural setting. Two sheep lie in the foreground, while one stands and looks slightly to the right. The drawing uses fine lines to depict the structure of the fur and the texture of the surroundings. The sheep appear relaxed, with their heads slightly lowered. The composition is balanced, with a slight tilt to the right, which is emphasised by the direction of the standing sheep's gaze. In the background, a hint of plants and a rock are visible, drawn with sketchy lines. The lighting conditions are even, without strong shadows, which gives the picture a calm atmosphere.
