The picture shows a narrow forest path that winds its way through a dense row of trees. Tall, slender trunks line both sides of the path, which curves slightly in the centre and seems to disappear into the distance. The vegetation is lush, with various shades of green representing the leaves and grass. The composition creates a deep perspective that draws the viewer into the scene. The lighting conditions are muted, suggesting a cloudy sky or a shady forest. The colour palette is limited to earthy tones that create a calm, natural atmosphere. The painting style is loose, with fleeting brushstrokes that suggest movement and liveliness. Provenance: From the estate of the artist.
