A small wooden building, which could well be a mill, is visible on the left-hand edge of the picture. The composition conveys an idyllic natural setting in which both the beauty of the rocks and the vegetation are depicted in detail. The harmonious depiction and the flowing water suggest a peaceful and unspoilt landscape that possibly tells a story of human exploitation of natural resources.
