As in Schwind's works, the sketchbook contains numerous depictions of historical scenes or illustrations of fairy tales and legends as well as religious themes. Keywords: 19th century, Romanticism, Religious, Germany, Size: Paper: 13,9 cm x 18,3 cm (5,5 x 7,2 in), Depiction: 7,6 cm x 9,0 cm (3 x 3,5 in) Condition: Good condition. The sheet is discoloured and slightly soiled due to its age. Slightly bumped and soiled in places along the edges. There are individual punctures from drawing pins or similar in the corners of the sheet. The image makes a very good impression.
