The farmstead depicted, with masonry ground floor, wooden upper floor and gallery, corresponds to the type of the mountain farmhouse in Tyrol and South Tyrol. The rugged rocky peaks are reminiscent of the Dolomites, without a specific peak being identifiable. The picture is painted in impasto with brush and palette knife. German Description Alpenmaler, Hochgebirgslandschaft mit Almhof und Wildbach vor Felsgipfeln, wohl Mitte 20. Jh. Öl/Leinwand, unten rechts signiert (nicht aufgelöst), darunter wohl ortsbezeichnet, wohl Mitte 20. Jh., Hochgebirgslandschaft, auf einem grünen Hang ein Almhof mit weiß gemauertem Erdgeschoss, hölzernem Obergeschoss mit Laube und flachem Dach, daneben ein Nebengebäude und ein Holzzaun, zu beiden Seiten Nadelbäume, im Vordergrund ein Wildbach zwischen Felsblöcken, dahinter zerklüftete, teils verschneite Felsgipfel unter bewölktem Himmel, altersgemäß guter Zustand, Krakelee, partiell kleine Farbfehlstellen, Leinwand mittig gedellt, linksseitig kleinere Dellen, Darstellung 80,5x70,5 cm (HxB), gerahmt, Rahmenbreite 6,5 cm Die Almhütte vor schroffer Hochgebirgskulisse mit Gebirgsbach gehört zu den beliebtesten Motiven der Alpenmalerei des 20. Jhs. Der dargestellte Hof mit gemauertem Erdgeschoss, hölzernem Obergeschoss und Laube entspricht dem Typ des Bergbauernhofs in Tirol und Südtirol. Die zerklüfteten Felsgipfel erinnern an die Dolomiten, ohne dass sich ein bestimmter Gipfel benennen lässt. Das Bild ist pastos mit Pinsel und Spachtel gemalt.
