Blindgepr. Ldr. d. Zt. mit Lilienmotiv, Goldschnitt u. Metallschließe (berieben, bestoßen, Block gebrochen, Rücken fehlt). Die dekorativ gestalteten Albumseiten mit von Blumen umrankten Sichtfenstern sowie Natur- und Landschaftsmotiven, darunter Ansichten von Burgen und Schlössern Schottlands (Balmoral, Invergarry, Dudhope, Broughty u. Kilchurn Castle, Melrose, Kelso u. Dryburgh Abbey, Lochnagar etc.). - Die Portraits (von C. Vandyk, Clarke & Clarke, Elliot & Fry, A&G Taylor u.a. in London) zeigen meist Männer (darunter wohl 2 Geistliche und ein Herr mit Orden und Amts- oder (Freimaurer?) Ordenskette), 3 Kinder u. 2 Damen. - Ohne die im Rückdeckel einst eingearbeitete Spieluhr. - Sichtfenster an den Rändern tls. mit Läsuren, Seiten tls. etw. angestaubt, Photos z.T. leicht fleckig, sonst insg. gut erhalten. With a chromolithographed title page, 10 chromolithographed album pages, and a total of 34 inserted portrait photographs (vintages, albumen prints, CdVs, and cabs). Circa 1880-1895. 4°. Blind stamped contemp. leather binding with a lily motif, gilt edges, and a metal clasp (worn, bumped, block broken, spine missing). - The decoratively designed album pages with cut outs entwined with flowers as well as nature and landscape motifs, including views of castles and palaces in Scotland (Balmoral, Invergarry, Dudhope, Broughty, and Kilchurn Castle, Melrose, Kelso, and Dryburgh Abbey, Lochnagar, etc.). - The portraits (by C. Vandyk, Clarke & Clarke, Elliot & Fry, A&G Taylor, and others in London) mostly depict men (including, presumably, two clergymen and a gentleman wearing medals and an official or (Masonic?) chain), three children, and two ladies. - The music box that was once embedded in the back cover is missing. - Partially marginal defects along the cut outs, pages somewhat dusty, some photos slightly stained, otherwise overall well preserved.
