Auktion beendet

Mittelalter - Antiphonarblätter Vier Fragmente aus einem Antiphonar bzw. Psalter Mit zahlreichen kolorierten Initialen in Rot- und Blau und kolorierten Liniensystem. Lateinische Handschrift. Gotische Textualis (liturgische Minuskel) auf Pergament. 15x16,5 cm bis 38,6 x 22 cm. Mitteleuropa, spätes 14., frühes 15. Jahrhundert (1370-1430). Four fragments from an antiphonary or psalter with numerous coloured initials in red and blue and coloured staff lines. Latin manuscript. Gothic textualis (liturgical minuscule) on parchment. 15 × 16.5 cm to 38.6 × 22 cm. Central Europe, late 14th to early 15th century (1370-1430). Provenance: From the estate of a bookbinder. - Waste fragments taken from a binding. The music is written on red four-line staves with square and diamond-shaped notes (square notation), which developed in the late 11th century and from the 13th to 15th century became the standard for Gregorian chant. The form of the neumes (clear squares, pes, clivis, etc.) and the relatively dense, even textualis point rather to the 14th-early 15th century than to early Romanesque or very late Renaissance script. Contents with the antiphons of Psalms 80 and 88 respectively. - Partly with the typical defects and darkening on the verso side found in such fragments. Dieses Los ist regelbesteuert. This work is subject to the regular margin scheme.
