The Omega Cosmic provides new impulses to the horological industry and represents one of the most sophisticated Swiss inventions: The calendar watch. The classic design of the Cosmic is always impressive, be it in a square or in a round case. The dial provides a surprising number of functions, such as a calendar with German day and month display and a moon phase display. Gilt arrow indexes, alpha hands and a blue date pointer ensure perfect readability: The warm 18 carat gold case features a chamfered bezel with beautiful rounded lugs – the so-called Geneva lugs – and embodies the aesthetics and the style of the early 1950s. The elegance continues inside with an attractive pink gold movement and calibre 27DLPC (calibre 381 after 1949). This yellow gold Cosmic is in exquisite condition, featuring an extremely attractive, evenly patinated, almost pumpkin-coloured dial with golden accents. The case is in excellent condition and the gold hallmarks are clearly visible. A wonderful piece for the experienced connoisseur. Case: very good, slightly worn. Dial: very good, slightly oxydized. Movm.: very good, capable of running, cleaning recommended.
