The gold Omega reference 145.016 is a rare and stylish variant of one of the most versatile chronographs of the 1960s and 1970s. While most models of this reference came in steel, the 18 K gold case grants this timepiece a special exclusivity and sophistication, making it an outstanding collector’s item. 38 mm are a perfect size for the warm yellow gold case of the Omega reference 145.016 with its luxurious yet discreet appeal, which is complemented by the beautifully designed dial with auxiliary dials. The face of the watch features a beautiful champagne-coloured hue with applied hour markers with black accents and hands with luminous filling. The tachymeter scale at the outer edge emphasises the sporty character of the watch. The watch is powered by the dependable Omega calibre 861, a manual-wound movement with ratchet chronograph function, which was also used for the famous Omega Speedmaster.
