The Breguet Classique Quantième Perpétuel Ref. 5327BR/1E/9V6 combines one of the most sophisticated classical complications with the distinctive aesthetic that has defined the Breguet name for more than two centuries. Its elegant 39 mm case, crafted in 18-carat rose gold, houses a fully developed perpetual calendar while retaining remarkably slender proportions, with a case height of just 9.1 mm. At the heart of the watch is an exquisitely hand-guilloché, silvered gold dial, complemented by the blued steel hands named after Breguet. In addition to the traditional central display of hours and minutes, the upper section features a fan-shaped power-reserve indicator and an aperture for the moon-phase display, depicting a golden moon and stars against a blue background, together with an indication of the age of the moon. The lower section of the dial is dedicated to the perpetual calendar, displaying the date, leap year and day of the week in English. The month indication is positioned at the centre of the dial, encircling the central hand arbor. The watch is powered by the ultra-thin self-winding calibre 502 DRP1, comprising 348 components and offering a power reserve of approximately 45 hours. Visible through the sapphire-crystal caseback, the sophisticated perpetual-calendar mechanism automatically takes into account the varying lengths of the months as well as leap years. Reference 5327 represents an exceptionally classical interpretation of haute horlogerie, combining Breguet’s traditional design language with sophisticated mechanical watchmaking. Case: very good.
