A. Lange & Söhne - GROSSE 1815 An elegant Glashütte wristwatch, limited to 500 pieces in platinum. This is the highest limited edition ever sold by A. Lange & Söhne and has so far only been produced for two models: the GROSSE 1815 and the LANGEMATIK ANNIVERSARY (Ref. 203.025). In the case of the GROSSE 1815, only the platinum model was produced in a limited edition Movm. No. 78302, Ref. 233.025, Cal. L051.1, Case No. 185010, Dimensions 40 mm, circa 2010, Limited 055/500, Origin Deutschland, Original box, Original certificate, Accessories, platinum original clasp Case: Platinum, screwed on sapphire glass back, edition serial number on the caseback, platinum deployant clasp. Dial: Solid silver, rhodié. Movm.: Manual. The A.?Lange & Söhne GROSSE 1815 (GRAND 1815,) reference 233.025, unites traditional Glashütte watchmaking with timeless elegance. Produced in 2009 as a limited edition of only 500 pieces, the model features a 40?mm platinum case. Its solid silver dial, adorned with black lacquered Breguet numerals, a railway-track minute scale, and white-gold Alpha hands, gives the watch a particularly understated and refined presence. The name of the collection refers to 1815, the birth year of Ferdinand Adolph Lange, founder of fine watchmaking in Glashütte. The hand-wound movement follows this tradition with absolute fidelity: a three-quarter plate made of untreated nickel silver, screwed gold chatons, blued screws, a swan-neck fine adjustment, and a hand-engraved balance cock - all hallmarks of the highly skilled, tradition-bound craftsmanship. With a power reserve of 55 hours, reference 233.025 combines traditional Saxon watchmaking with the exquisite aesthetics of a modern dress watch. Case: very good, worn. Dial: very good. Movm.: very good, capable of running, cleaning recommended. Please note that leather straps made from endangered or protected species - such as alligator, crocodile, or lizard - are used in our catalogue or on our website for illustration purposes only. For customs-related reasons, such straps cannot be shipped outside the EU.
