927 - Historisches Collier.

Historisches Collier. Verschluss: Kastenschloss. Chain length 53.0 cm, central element 45.83 x 32.77 mm. 50.6 g. Probably circa 1850-60. Impressive necklace in gold-plated silver with a central element featuring a black onyx plate and pendants, connected by double chain strands with two smaller elements, each featuring tassel pendants. Clasp: box clasp. Overall, shows slight signs of wear consistent with its age: a dented pendant on the central element; the gold plating is partially worn, especially on the reverse; the box clasp was likely replaced. The necklace may have been assembled from individual elements.
