In the foreground, the sarcophagus containing the relics of Saint Nicholas of Myra is carried in procession towards the city gate of Bari. The procession is received outside the city walls by the people, priests, clergy and faithful. The basma minimally damaged. 26.6 x 21.6 cm.

Eitempera auf Kreidegrund, Gewandornamente und Hintergrund vergoldet. Silberbasma mit Gravurdekor. 26,6 x 21,6 cm. In äußerst feiner Malerei ausgeführte Ikone. Das Bildfeld ist horizontal in zwei Ebenen unterteilt. Im Bildvordergrund wird der Sarkophag mit der Reliquie des heiligen Nikolaus von Myra in einer Prozession in Richtung des Stadttores von Bari getragen.
