The fair was constructed on a 636 acre site along the northern shore of the city. The fair attraczed 18.9 million visitors. The event managed to exude the charme of a "state fair" with a variety of different awards and tributes. Many years later product labels and posters still celebrated the success of countless businesses, state and national institutions as well as the individual efforts delivered during the fair. The main exhibition edifices were dedicated to different topics such as food production, education, social economy, agriculture, transportation, industry, mining, metallurgy and the arts. Even though WWI was raging, several European countries attended the fair, such as Italy, France and Switzerland who exhibited at the Palace of Varied Industries. Case: very good. Dial: very good.
